SOLD – The ‘Narrowest Detached House’ in the UK Sells at Leicester Auction

September 3rd saw what has been described as an ‘unusual’ detached house sell at an auction house in Leicester.

The detached red brick home is around four meters wide, making it among one of the narrowest properties within the UK. To put the measurement into perspective, this two-bed home is about half the width of a tennis court.

The quirky detached is located within the Knighton area of the city of Leicester and sold just above the guided price of £155,000. The average price house within the Knighton area is around £300,000.

The property includes a lounge, dining room, kitchen, a bathroom and two cosy bedrooms.

The successful bidder is believed to be a local property developer within the Leicester area.

I started writing for PPO back in August 2019. I particularly enjoy writing about new housing developments and upcoming property events.
