  • How did you get into the property industry?

After my husband was put at risk of redundancy, he went to a property seminar and we subsequently went to a training course. The course gave us a flavour for the property industry and prompted ourselves to sign up to a series of training course with Legacy Education Alliance.

  • What local areas would you suggest investing property in?

Our business (Aireworth Property Sourcing) invests in property around the inner and outer city of Bradford and also further a field to the Aire Valley. The BD postcode areas work well with our current strategies. Bradford and Aire Valley has a wide variety of properties from terraces to large detached houses. So, no matter what type of property, there is always a good selection for a investor to choose from.

  • How has the local property market changed in the last few years?

One must remember that our local area, aka the BD postcode, spreads from the city all the way to points within the Yorkshire Dales.

The market within the city of Bradford, has remained buoyant with prices increasing quickly at the beginning of last year. However, this has started to steady.

  • Does the property market look bright?

In short, I believe the answer is yes. Regardless of Brexit, I genuinely believe that the property market has a bright future ahead of itself.

  • What would be the next property you would ideally want to invest in next?

As a company, we already have a wide portfolio, and also in my spare time I also have a few investments.

Although, if I were to invest, it would be a BTL (buy-to-let). I thoroughly enjoy the decorating side of a property and making a home feel homely for a new tenant.

I started writing for PPO back in August 2019. I particularly enjoy writing about new housing developments and upcoming property events.
