Why this ‘ideal’ house is listed at half price

A terraced house in Liverpool has recently entered the market at a surprisingly cheap price. The three bed is located on Clarendon Road, Anfield, Liverpool, where the average house value is £81,522. The house in question is listed for just £36,000, less than half the average.

The house comprises of:

Ground floor – entrance hall, living room, dining room and bathroom

First floor – 3 bedrooms

External – on-street parking to the front, and a yard to the back

This sounds like an ideal home for many, so why is it so cheap compared to its neighbouring houses?

The photos say it all. This house needs a lot of work – but that doesn’t put some people off. It could be a fantastic renovation project either to then live in or sell on for a profit. Bear in mind though that £36,000 is a guide price. The house is being auctioned which means it could sell for more.
