Buckingham Palace – The Queen and Prince Phillip
When it comes to the largest palace that the UK has, it is difficult to put a price tag on a total rent for the palace. Buckingham Palace is not only home to the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh, it is also homes 775 spacious rooms. Within the number this makes up for 52 royal and guest bedrooms, 19 state rooms, 92 offices, 188 staff bedrooms and 78 bedrooms.
Considering this, Purplebricks have quoted that to rent an eight bedroom apartment at the palace, it would cost an eye watering 75k per month.
For those who can’t afford this (well, nearly all of us!), the palace is open to tours of property in Summer time.

A six minute walk down the road from Buckingham Palace sits Clarence House, home to the next in line to the throne, Prince Charles.
Him and his wife Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, live in the modest size house (well, modest to Buckingham Palace). It was the previous residence of the Queen Mother and before Charles moved into the property in 2002, he had the house refurbished.
To rent the whole house per month, Purplebricks it would be 100k a year. In a year, that could buy you around fourteen terraced houses in Burnley, Lancashire!
